Update your business details

It’s important to keep your business details up to date so your account can run as smoothly and securely as possible.

If we’ve contacted you to update your details using a ‘KYB’ form, please go to this page.

You can update most of your business details using our online form, including:

  • Changing your business name or address.
  • Adding or removing a person from your business account.
  • Updating your signing instructions.

If you need to change your personal details, head over to our ‘Help & Support’ page.

How to update your details

To get started, you’ll need your account number and sort code. If your business requires additional authorisation to make changes, you’ll need their details too.

After you’ve submitted the change

  1. We’ll email you for authentication. You’ll need your photo ID on hand for this.
  2. Once you’re verified, you can complete the form.
  3. We’ll be in touch if we need more information or to confirm that the changes have been made.

We use Adobe Sign for this kind of request. Adobe will pass the information you provide to us securely and won’t process it in any other way. Information on how we use your data can be found in our Data Privacy Notice.

To be able to make changes, you’ll need:

  • To be an authorised person within the business.
  • To have your business name, sort code, and account number ready.
  • To have a copy of your photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence).
  • If your business is registered at Companies House, all relevant details need to be up to date. If they are not, we won’t be able to process your request.
  • You’ll need proof of business address if you're updating your trading address. This could be a utility bill or tenancy contract in the name of your business. We’ve included a full list of documents you can use in the request form.
  • If you're a Club, Charity, Society or Trust you may be asked for a Board of Resolution that documents the decision to make the amendment(s). You’ll need this if:
  • You’re making a full change of key people on the account.
  • A signatory cannot sign to authorise the changes.
  • Or there are no signatories currently on the account.
