The actions we have committed to under our Do What Matters plan focus on delivering social good by supporting financial and social inclusion and encouraging fair business practice. We take a leading position on tackling issues affecting many of those we serve. But we know there is more work to be done.

“When TSB approached me after hearing me speak at a parliamentary event about economic abuse, it was clear they understood the impact of financial control. What TSB does – very quietly, every day, from front line to top leadership – is revolutionary. I now have faith that practical, effective change is happening.”

We support victims of domestic abuse

At TSB we know domestic abuse impacts our customers, colleagues, and communities. The TSB Flee Fund gives domestic abuse victims up to £500 to pay for essentials to make leaving an abusive relationship possible. Money given through the Flee Fund doesn’t have to be repaid. This industry-leading approach has won awards for best practice in supporting vulnerable customers.

We’ve partnered with Hestia to provide Safe Spaces to victims of domestic abuse in all our branches and online. All TSB branch colleagues are trained to spot signs of domestic abuse and to support those in need. It doesn’t matter if you don’t bank with us. If you need us, we’re here.

We pay our suppliers promptly.

As a signatory of the Fair Payment Code, TSB has been recognised with a Gold Award for paying at least 95% of all invoices within 30 days. This reflects our commitment to fair, prompt and transparent payment practices across our supply chain.

We also go further for our small suppliers, voluntarily committing to pay them in less than ten days. This commitment sits within our Responsible Supplier Charter, which sets out how we work in partnership with our suppliers.

TSB. For everyone.

Real diversity. Real progress. Real inclusivity.

TSB is for everyone. Every single one of our customers and colleagues. There are over 5million customers and more than 5,000 colleagues, spread across the UK, and we want a level playing field for all of them.

TSB is a carer confident ambassador employer.

TSB offers a range of support to colleagues with caring responsibilities when they need it most from flexible approaches to work, different paid and unpaid leave options, including up to 70 hours paid leave per year.

Our parental policy gives all parents, regardless of gender, equal leave with their child.

This makes us one of the first major employers in financial services to offer inclusive leave.

“Becoming a dad is probably the most rewarding thing I’ve ever experienced. The support TSB provided with my second child, Flynn, was amazing. I felt empowered knowing I’d have a career to come back to and thrive  Without equal parental leave, parents don’t get the chance to create once-in-a-lifetime early memories with their kids”
