Service Account (no longer on sale)

This is a passbook current account.  If you want to get more from your banking, you may want to book an appointment with us to change it to a Spend & Save account.

To be able to change your existing Service Account to a Spend & Save account, you would be required to close your Service account and open a new Spend & Save account.   You would be required to set up your existing direct debits and standing orders on your new account.

What’s included with this passbook account

  • This account gives you all the basics you’d expect from a current account 
  • You can pay in cash and cheques in branch using the counter, Immediate Deposit Machines, cash machines, or pay-in boxes
  • You can transfer money in and out of your account using Internet Banking
  • Easily manage standing orders and Direct Debits online, over the phone, or in branch
  • An ATM card for withdraw cash using a 4-digit PIN 
  • You can also bank with us at any Post Office in the UK 

What’s not included

  • This account doesn’t give you access to an overdraft 
  • There are no charges for everyday transactions as long as you’re in credit
